Welcome to the website for the Downham & Bellingham Cricket Club
Founded 1931
The Downham & Bellingham Cricket Club run two Saturday teams, both playing in the Kent League and one team playing friendly cricket on a Sunday.
Our 1st XI play in Division 3 of the Kent League and our 2nd XI are in Reserve Division 3.
Downham is a small friendly family club. The 2012 club captain is Gary Hopper and Nick Goddard is Captain of the 2nd XI. The Sunday team is managed by the former Charlton and Gillingham footballer, Colin Powell assisted by Fred Crouch.
Downham enjoy a close relationship with Charlton Athletic Football Club, and our members include the former Addick's stars, Steve Gritt, Colin Powell, John Bumstead and Mark Penfold.
We positively encourage new members so get in touch if you are interested in playing, umpiring or scoring.
